Seoul National University, Korea
Hello everyone 🙂
My name is Gina, and I’m currently in my second year of a Global Studies and Music conjoint degree. I look forward to sharing my experiences and adventures during my semester abroad at Seoul National University in Seoul, South Korea!
Going on exchange has been a long-held dream of mine, and I perceive this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to prove an unforgettable experience that will help me gain the courage to grow as an individual. I was born in Aotearoa, New Zealand, to a Chinese father and a Korean mother, and grew up speaking five languages. I am also a classical pianist who has been playing the piano since the age of five — thus, I am majoring in classical piano performance for my music degree. Additionally, I am deeply passionate about cultural diversity and the way it revolves around intercultural communication.
Nevertheless, I am beyond excited to explore South Korea’s vibrant culture, expand my human network, immerse myself in my exchange student life, and experience an entirely new way of life in Seoul.
Do join me for the ride!
