Introduction

Kia ora hello!

My name is Judy, and I’m eagerly anticipating my semester exchange at the University of Sydney to kick off my third year. I currently study a Bachelor of Science and Arts conjoint degree, majoring in Psychology and Communication.

Though Australia is only next door (I’ve heard some people jokingly call it the ‘West Island’), I’m a firm believer in the idea that opportunities for learning and growth can happen anywhere, and that you don’t always have to venture outside the continent for a transformational experience.

I’m a bit of an old soul and also notorious for always being at home; throwing myself forward for a semester exchange will hopefully be a big leap in my confidence journey. I’ve spent most of my life in Auckland hunting down the last hidden gem bushwalks, reserves, and beaches. Now it’s time to climb out from under my rock and unlock new territory! Looking forward to sharing my tales of Introvert VS. Semester Exchange with you, along with the art and little things in hiding everyday life while abroad.
