Kate Malone
University College London, England
Introduction
Kia ora everyone! My name is Kate, and I’m a fourth-year BSc/BCom conjoint student majoring in Environmental Science (BSc) and Economics (BCom). This semester, I’ll be heading to University College London (UCL) in England on exchange, where I’ll be studying as a Geography student.
I’m so excited and grateful for this opportunity, as living in London has been a childhood dream of mine. I’m also looking forward to experiencing a different approach to learning and to gain insights from some incredible researchers and lecturers at UCL. Hopefully I can bring that knowledge back and apply it in meaningful ways!
That said, my main goal for this exchange is to fully embrace everything London has to offer—a city brimming with history, vibrant food, and endless adventures. I’ve already started planning lots of exciting things and can’t wait to share my experiences with you all. From finding the best places to eat and drink to what attractions are worth the money, I’ll do my best to bring you the ultimate recommendations!
