What to expect:


As you delve into my blog posts, you’re going to explore my life in the mega city of São Paulo, where I’ll be studying Portuguese language and Brazilian culture at Fundação Armando Alvares Penteado – my host university for Semester One 2024.

There will be no shortage of learnings within my journal entries; as a bit of an information nerd, you’re likely to walk away with an array of intriguing knowledge after every post, and certainly, some awesome photos to tell the tale.  

Why São Paulo, Brazil?


As the world’s 4th largest city by population, and with an area of 1,521km², São Paulo is an entity of its own, thriving with a unique diversity of people, architecture, food, art, music, culture, the list goes on… São Paulo is a city unlike any other. It’s no surprise then, that the excitement I feel for the journey ahead is unfathomable, and truthfully, there is no other place I would rather be headed for an exchange.
