Prime Minister’s Scholarship for Latin America, Indigenous Rights & Histories in Brazil

Introduction

Hi! Welcome to my 360 blog!

My name is Aishlin! I just finished my second year of a Bachelor of Global Studies/Bachelor of Communication conjoint. In my BGst, I major in Global Politics, Human Rights, and Māori. In my Bachelor of Communication, I major in Communication and Social Change.

I applied to the PMSLA Indigenous Rights and Histories programme in Brazil with campus B. I was interested in this programme as it is an area I am incredibly passionate about and interested in.

I am looking forward to the opportunity to learn about indigenous Brazilian culture and broaden my understanding. I am also looking forward to the unique opportunity to bring this knowledge back to Aotearoa and use it to advocate for and advance indigenous rights and histories here.

I can’t wait to explore Brazil, meet new friends, and have the experience of a lifetime.

I knew I would be challenged in the sense that I was far from home and my support…Continue…
