Prime Minister’s Scholarship for Latin America, Intercultural Approaches to Public Health at UC Chile

Introduction

Kia ora,

My name is Amélie, and I am a third-year Bachelor of Science student studying Biological Sciences and Psychology. I intend to complete an honours year next year in Psychology. I am half French/ half Kiwi and live on a farm with my family. I love learning, health and fitness, and all things food!

I am beyond excited to share my experiences and adventures at UC Chile in Santiago. I am looking forward to learning about intercultural approaches to public health, engaging in self-discovery, making meaningful friendships, trying new foods and experiences, and immersing myself in Chilean culture. I hope to reshape my worldview and come back with a different world perspective and outlook on life.

I can’t wait to explore Chile, document, and share this once-in-a-lifetime trip!
