Prime Minister’s Scholarship for Asia, Global Internship in Mumbai

Introduction

Kia ora! I’m Angelica, and I am in the final year of my LLB (Hons) / BA conjoint, majoring in Politics and International Relations and Psychology. Outside of my studies, I love to travel, spend time at the beach, and cook for my friends and family.

I have always been incredibly passionate about human rights advocacy, and I am very fortunate to have the opportunity to work in this space with the Vipla Foundation in Mumbai. Alongside spearheading development work that supports the needs of children, the foundation also works tirelessly to advocate for policy reform that supports women who are survivors of human trafficking.

It is a privilege to have the opportunity to travel to India on the PMSA scholarship. I look forward to learning more about the people and culture of Mumbai whilst contributing to the community through my internship.

Stay tuned for further updates and insights on my journey through this blog!
