Prime Minister’s Scholarship for Asia, Reimagining India with IndoGenius

Introduction

Kia ora! Ko Emalee tōku ingoa.

I am in my second year studying Health Sciences at The University of Auckland. I love music, long-distance running and being outdoors.

As a Māori student majoring in population health, I am passionate about equitable healthcare and how the environments we are surrounded by shape how we access it. I am keen to learn from what India has to offer concerning healthcare and improve my understanding of cross-cultural healthcare.

I am most excited about connecting with many people, learning their stories and sharing my own. I also cannot wait to experience India and the rich and diverse culture it has to offer!

Ngā mihi!
