Prime Minister’s Scholarship for Asia, Chinese Language Study Abroad

Introduction

你好,我是艾米丽 (Emilia)! I have just completed my second year at the University of Auckland studying Global Studies majoring in International Business and Chinese and Arts, majoring in French and Economics.

I’ve been learning Chinese for the past seven years and am incredibly grateful to have this amazing opportunity to practice and develop my language skills. I’m looking forward to experiencing the amazing culture Taiwan has to offer and getting the most out of the trip, including eating as much delicious food as I can!

In the future, I hope to have a job in International Business and Relations, specifically Diplomacy, and I believe the knowledge and experience I gain from this trip will help immensely!

First of all, Christmas isn’t widely celebrated in Tainan and isn’t a public holiday so in the days leading…Continue…
