Ko Reina Beamsley-Allan toku ingoa.

My name is Reina Beamsley-Allan, and I am currently studying a Bachelor of Global Studies majoring in Global Politics and Human Rights, with my area studies being the Pacific, and a Bachelor of Commerce majoring in International Law. I intend to pursue a career in International Relations and Foreign Affairs.

I chose to apply for this programme because I believed it would be an excellent opportunity to gain first-hand experience with the social challenges faced by communities worldwide and, more specifically, the Indigenous Communities. Furthermore, I believe it will help deepen my perspective on the similarities and differences in a Global Perspective on social challenges between the Māori Community and the Mexican Community.

I believe this will be the perfect opportunity for students to gain a greater global perspective on social issues and challenges regardless of their degree because it is an integral part of being a global citizen.
