Introduction

Hi guys! My name is Malisha and I’m currently in Part III studying Civil Engineering. I am currently on exchange to the University of Edinburgh in Scotland! I have grown up in Avondale, West Auckland my whole life and hold it dear to my heart. My family and I are from Sri Lanka (Kegalle and Matara). 

I decided to go on exchange as I haven’t lived away from home and wanted to try a new experience and travel too! My hobbies consist of reading and traditional dancing. 

Why Scotland? Honestly I wanted to go anywhere in the UK so all I know right now about Scotland is that there’s bagpipes but I can’t wait to learn more about the amazing country. I am exciting to be heading over there but also so damn nervous at the same time so stay tuned for how it goes!
