Prime Minister’s Scholarship for Asia, Reimagining India Study Tour

Introduction

Hi, my name is Olivia, and I am studying at the University of Waikato on the Tauranga campus. I am studying a Bachelor of Social Sciences and have just completed my first year.

I applied for this programme because I thought it would be an amazing opportunity to immerse myself in another culture while learning and gaining skills for my future career alongside a group of other like-minded students.

I am excited to learn more about the people in India and their worldviews and how these differ from those held in New Zealand. I hope this study tour will open me up to many possibilities that will help inspire future career decisions.
