Prime Minister’s Scholarship for Latin America, iWinterMX Global Business Programme

Introduction

Hello, Y’all. My name is Ben, and I’m 21 years old and from New Zealand, specifically Auckland. I’m studying at the University of Auckland, doing a Bachelor of Law and a Bachelor of Commerce conjoint, majoring in International Business and Management.

I applied for the Mexico program because I wanted an adventure, and going through uni seemed like the best way possible, as I can get credits while having fun.

The thing I’m looking forward to most while on the program is the Mexican culture. I reckon the media portrays Mexico as not a safe place to visit, but I’m looking forward to the experience. For my career aspirations, I aim to get out of New Zealand, and going to Mexico would strengthen my options as I could branch out my networks.
